About Ryan Kinowski

From operating nuclear reactors in the US Navy to leading organizational resilience at Google Data Centers, my career has been marked by a dedication to excellence and continuous learning. My six years as a Nuclear Operator provided a robust foundation in technical expertise, critical thinking, and operational discipline, complemented by a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering Technology. At Northrup Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding, I served as a Mechanical Test Engineer, where I conducted rigorous testing of nuclear systems and components, further developing my skills in quality assurance, system validation, and data analysis. In 2008, I moved to Charleston, SC, drawn to the challenge of applying my skills in Google's demanding 24x7 data center environment. As a Facilities Technician, I rapidly expanded my expertise across all aspects of critical infrastructure. Recognizing a need, I developed Google's first Critical/Technical Learning and Development program. Today, as a Program Manager specializing in people and organizational resilience for Google Data Centers, I design and execute programs that foster a culture of resilience, enhance employee well-being, and ensure operational continuity. I focus on developing scalable solutions that empower teams to navigate challenges, adapt to change, and maintain peak performance through organizational resilience, operational excellence, and an optimized end-user experience.
