About Ryan Kitchen

Seasoned cloud professional and quality engineering leader. You make it, we break it. I work with a small, talented team of software development test engineers and manual testers to validate a growing suite of cloud based microservices. We test the functional and non-functional requirements; but we also advocate for the overall client experience directly to the development teams we support. The goal each day is to automate as much as possible while keeping our tech debt low. The team relies heavily upon infrastructure as code to rapidly deploy and validate features across dev, stage, ppd and prd environments concurrently. We use JIRA, Zephyr, ServiceNow, Jenkins, Github, and a host of open source test tools (Selenium, Maven, Cosbench, sysbench, Ansible, Docker, Packer etc) and deployment tools to build first class enterprise software to ensure the best customer experience.
