A Senior Manager of global Operational and Technology teams, technology and processes, delivering critical services within the Media industry. As Chief Technical Officer, BFBS, reporting into the Chief Executive, my remit includes the leadership of the Service Delivery, Digital Product, International Operations, Engineering, IT, Cyber Security and Projects teams. As the MCR Operations Manager at Babcock Media Services, I held responsibility for ensuring high service availability for Babcock's critical broadcast services, across all platforms, including, DVB, DTT and OTT Multi-Platform Services. Client services across both linear and non-linear content included aggregation, ingest, transcode, QC play-out, distribution & transmission. My experience is across operations, engineering and project management, production, engineering, solutions architecture and business trend analysis. I have delivered multiple key broadcast critical projects of various principles and have designed full workflow systems in my position as solutions architect. I am a Prince 2 Project Management, ITIL V3 and Lead Implementer accredited manager of people, process & technology. I am a confident manager of major change with a strong eye for governance and process improvement. I have responsibility for the definition and creation of business processes, essential to the support and maintenance of critical, high availability services. I have proven ability to effectively manage, empower, motivate and engage teams at all levels ensuring enhanced productivity and happy individuals.
