About Ryan Laychak

As a Senior Manager at JFF, I bring 10 years of expertise in workforce development and family self-sufficiency program development, spanning the federal and private sectors. Demonstrated advanced skills in project management, program implementation and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking with the goal of developing strong programs and partnerships. Currently, I serve as the Grants Management & Performance Lead embedded within the US Department of Labor supporting the H-1B Skills Training - Building Pathways to Infrastructure Jobs Grant Program. Prior to JFF, I spearheaded a comprehensive workforce systems analysis project for the state of Vermont, aimed at enhancing governance and accountability in the statewide workforce development, training, and educational systems. This endeavor involved collaborating closely with stakeholders to make actionable recommendations to the Vermont Legislature. Additionally, I managed a five-year Federal Registered Apprenticeship expansion initiative to recruit and place 150 new apprentices annually in both the energy and cybersecurity sectors. Education- Master of Science in Urban Policy & Leadership from Hunter College, CUNY - Bachelor’s Degree in Government from the University of Virginia, with a focus on American Government & Politics.
