I have worked for various oil companies in Australia, Alberta and Saskatchewan as a Well Site Drilling Supervisor. In this position I am accountable for the supervision of horizontal wells, Montney/Duvernay, SAGD pad work, heavy oil and conventional drilling. Very familiar with milling, setting whipstocks, FCD setting and placement and every other aspect of drilling and completing wells. Other highlights in my career include working as a Rig Manager at Akita Drilling for 10 years. Initially starting as a Lease Hand and was promoted to a Rig Manager after being recognised for my hard working efforts and outstanding leadership. My strengths include Well Control, Rigs, Onshore, Drilling, Gas, Occupational Health, Safety Management Systems, Heavy Equipment, HSEQ and Environmental Awareness, to name a few. As an engaging leader, I have proven to develop and motivate others to achieve set targets. I also pride myself on fostering the professional development of not only junior staff, but of my own. I am now looking to build on my existing skills within a suitably challenging role.
