About Ryan Lewis

Since childhood, troubleshooting random problems and assisting others in need has always been of interest to me. These skillsets have led me into various IT roles. My first real job was the US Army where I deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan doing communications and IT support. This eye-opening adventure defined my goals to always be open to new opportunities to learn and absorb knowledge. We provided communications security to multiple hardware platforms while setting up forward bases from scratch in remote locations. This experience showed how much can be accomplished when multiple individuals work together to accomplish a common task. This lesson would carry me well into the corporate world. My current job provides daily mind-expanding challenges. One example was verifying why some specific model laptops were bluescreening using the WinDbg tool to analyze the Memory.DMP files. We narrowed down the issue to old drivers and updated our OS image to specific ones provided by the vendor. Cases like this are why the IT field is exciting for me. My father told me when I was young that every new experience adds a crease to your brain.and working in IT has made many indeed!
