About Ryan Ly

As a veteran talent agent and prominent entertainment consultant, Ryan brings more than 20 years of client-facing, business development experience to his role as a Financial Representative at the Downtown Los Angeles office of Northwestern Mutual. In his role with Northwestern Mutual, Ryan draws upon more than a decade of leadership with industry giant Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where he served as an equity partner and the head of the television literary department. In addition to specializing in work with entertainment professionals, Ryan and his team collaborate with successful individuals, families, and business owners across industries to help them covert their passions into prosperity. Ryan attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Film Studies. Still active with his alma mater, he has given back to the school through initiatives such as his endowment of a special collection fund for the University of Pennsylvania library system. Ryan and his family live in the Hollywood Hills, where they enjoy the neighborhood's proximity to hiking (accompanied always by their faithful dog, Stracciatella) and local restaurants. When not spending time with family or clients, you can find him traveling the world to educate himself further on culture, food and wine, and the ways in which others lead flourishing lives.
