About Ryan Lynes

I am a dynamic leader with an extensive engineering background. I am passionate about building highly technical and efficient engineering teams, improving processes and infrastructure, and developing high-quality products. I started my career at Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) in 2003 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in Computer Engineering. I helped X-ES grow from a small startup with less than ten employees into a highly successful embedded computing company employing over 400 individuals. Throughout my career at X-ES, I have held widely varying positions and embraced additional responsibilities as X-ES evolved into an industry leader. I have deep technical knowledge of electronic design, printed circuit board layout, qualification testing, prototyping, manufacturing processes, and project management. I excel at driving initiatives and projects to completion by making difficult trade-off decisions that are in the best interest of our company and our customers. During my career at X-ES, the executive team has routinely asked me to lead critical initiatives that span multiple departments. Currently, I manage a diverse team of electrical engineers, software engineers, and electronic technicians. Our team is responsible for designing, testing, and improving all point-of-load power supplies on our single-board computers (SBCs).
