About Ryan Maia

I'm passionate about creating inclusive and innovative solutions to global challenges. I have IO, NGO, and nonprofit experience in research, communications, and organizational capacity building. My thematic expertise includes sustainable development, peacebuilding, green finance/fiscal policy, and food systems. My professional skillset includes data analytics and visualization, global information systems (GIS), statistical analysis, strategic and organizational communications planning, web and graphic design, and video and photo production. I completed a Master's in International Affairs at the Geneva Graduate Institute, where I focused my studies on green finance and peacebuilding. I was Vice President of the Environmental Committee and was on the Higher Education Institution Politics team for the Swiss Student Sustainability Association (VSN). I graduated from Northeastern University with a BA in International Affairs and BS in Philosophy. In 2019, I was selected as a Northeastern Presidential Global Fellow and received the Honors Program Global Engagement Award. Let's make a positive impact together.
