About Ryan Maloney

I’ve always been inspired by the power of a good story. Finding the right words – to inform, to inspire, to entertain – has been the journey of my life. It’s what first drove me to write for my hometown newspapers as a baby-faced teenager, to study for a Master of Arts in journalism at Western University, and to embark on an award-winning career in Canadian journalism. From interviewing political leaders and newsmakers to telling the stories of ordinary people and co-hosting a web series, my journalism career at Yahoo, The Huffington Post,and CBC News taught me how to produce high-quality content that is fair and accurate. Now, I’m using all I have learned about communications, journalism, media relations, and editorial strategy for another public good - working with the incredible team at Mackenzie Health.
