Ryan McClain is a Marketing Associate at Blue & Company, LLC, where he specializes in video production. Ryan is an Emmy Award winning video producer whose expertise in all things video is rooted in his education at Ball State University in Muncie, IN, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Media, with focuses in video and audio production. Ryan's dedication to his craft and well-rounded approach to marketing has earned him recognition and success throughout his career. Prior to joining Blue & Company, LLC, Ryan served as Creative Content Strategist at Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America. In this role, Ryan honed his marketing skills by mastering CMS skills on Wordpress, becoming a proficient graphic designer, and creating engaging e-newsletter content with open rates of up to 45% and link click rates of up to 21%. He also supported the Council’s fundraising events by planning and executive event operations, creating marketing collateral, and shooting photos and highlight videos. Before his time at Crossroads of America Council, Ryan was employed as a creative services producer and newscast director at WRTV, the ABC affiliate in Indianapolis. During his tenure, Ryan directed newscasts, maintained studio equipment, created client commercials and marketing campaigns, and wrote, filmed, and edited station promos. One of his promos, the WRTV Toy Drive promo, was awarded an Emmy in the promos category. Ryan's previous experience also includes starting his video production career as an Assistant Public Information Officer for the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office while still in college. He created a documentary series titled “Deputies of Delaware County”, in which he rode along with sheriff’s deputies for thousands of hours to show the day to day action law enforcement officers face. Ryan’s series amassed over 5 million views across DCSO’s social media platforms. In addition to his professional work, Ryan volunteers his videography skills to organizations like Winter Guard International, where he has been a videographer since 2016. He also volunteers with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office in Noblesville, Indiana, creating a video series titled Beneath the Badge that humanizes people working in law enforcement. Ryan's work with HCSO has been Emmy-nominated in the government & politics category. Ryan is also a co-owner of Cardinal Police Diecast, a hobby business that designs and customizes decals for model police cars. In his free time, Ryan enjoys hiking in state parks and exploring new restaurants with his wife, Olivia.
