About Ryan McCormack

Over the past 20 years I have developed the skill set that ranges from managing quality system to development and training system for employees. I have worked as a teacher of middle and high school math and science, quality technician, quality supervisor, and quality development and continuous improvement manager. The audience and pedagogical approach have varied but the goal of developing, coordinating, and implementing systems and training programs to further improve student and employee performance has been the same. In my current role I have developed and implemented plans to improve our quality (based on ISO 9001 and ISO and usage of continuous improvement methodologies. The outcome for the various programs has resulted in our site receiving quality rewards and improving our continuous improvement audit scores significantly. These accomplishments occurred because of clear plans, collaborative implementation, and cohesive training programs. Most recently I have re-developed our operational training approach, so it is more in line with “Instructional Design Model Elements” by providing clear objectives that result in tangible and actionable skills for our operators. The objectives are supported by training materials that utilize both visual and written explanations, which is then followed up with one-to-one training and routine evaluation and feedback. The resulting outcome has empowered our operational leadership team to improve overall employee performance and retention.
