With over three decades of experience in maritime transportation, terminal operations, and logistics, I specialize in managing complex cargo movements across North America, ranging from break bulk and heavy lift to bulk commodities and wind energy infrastructure. My career has spanned terminal operations on the West Coast, Alaska, and Central America, where I’ve overseen inbound and outbound bulk, liquid bulk and break bulk cargo across a diverse range of commodities. I currently serve as Operations Shift Manager and Senior Superintendent at DP World Fraser Surrey, where I lead large-scale port operations with a focus on efficiency, safety, labor relations, and customer service. My background includes key leadership roles at G2 Ocean, Grieg Star, and Fraser Surrey Docks LP, providing me with a deep understanding of international shipping, ship agency operations, and unionized workforce management. I hold a Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) designation from Canadian Institute of Traffic & Transportation, BCIT & Pacific Marine Training Institute, as well as certifications in site safety, incident command, ISPS S-FSO, and TDG. I also maintain a Class 1 commercial driver’s license, supporting my hands-on operational credibility. As a proud Vancouver native, I have been actively engaged in industry and community efforts, including with the BCMEA various committee's, BC Chamber of Shipping Port Operations committee, Port of Vancouver’s Port Security Stakeholders committee, Vancouver Transportation Club, and local sports associations. I’m passionate about contributing to the growth and evolution of our maritime industry through collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
