When recruiters ask me to describe myself, I usually lead with the essentials: I'm a results-driven account executive and people manager with over 22 years of experience in the information technology industry. I'm most proud of my time spent successfully leading a team of 12 in establishing Analytics and Data Management Services delivered to clients across Western Canada. And equally proud of my time fostering strong client relationships and maintaining a portfolio of over $24M in annual revenue. But there's more to me than just corporate titles and achievements. When I talk to my kids and friends about who I am, I tell them my story of Puzzles and People. Puzzles. My career started with the bits and bytes of the fast-paced IT world, where I thrived in an environment of continually changing technology. But solving technology puzzles was only the beginning. My true passion for solving puzzles ignited when I moved into various leadership roles, opening my eyes to fun and exciting opportunities that had many ways to approach them, with no perfect starting point, and no singular solution - I am proficient in formulating service strategies, inspiring innovation, developing proposals, and managing client expectations. I embrace ideas, identify gaps, and connect the dots to create exceptional outcomes. People. For me, fostering meaningful connections with individuals is the cornerstone of effective leadership. I lead through supporting and uplifting team members, leveraging their unique knowledge and strengths, and empowering them to thrive.
