About Ryan McIver

I am a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in General Business. I am eager to apply my skills in client relations, business strategy, and problem-solving in a business environment. From a young age I have gained comfort and familiarity in high pressure/competitive situations through sports and work experience, which I believe has prepared me to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment. My time working at Brightview Senior Living helped me to build my skill set in a unique, client-facing role, and increased my passion for building genuine relationships and problem-solving. An aspect of that role included obtaining emergency services for residents of our community, which taught me how to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations, along with empathy and care for the residents I served. I learned how to go above and beyond in a work environment, and gained a passion for helping people solve problems that they could not do themselves. Since graduating, I have continued in a client-facing sales assistant role at Taylor Rental Company, where I have developed my customer service and sales skills working with customers on a daily basis. I would be a strong addition to any business/sales development or talent acquisition teams, and am excited to learn and grow as a professional.
