I am a recent graduate of York University’s Graduate Program in Health, specializing in health policy and equity. My research evaluated the language and ideological assumptions of Canada’s national anti-poverty strategy to better understand its impact on poverty in Canada; and explain the relationships between language, broad social structures, policy, and practice.
