About Ryan Myrick

I am a recent Master of Engineering graduate in Advanced Manufacturing from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). I have developed a robust skill set in CAD, CAE, CAM, 3D printing, subtractive manufacturing, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Lean Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DoE), and tool design. My goal is to apply my expertise to both the biomedical and mechanical engineering fields. I am particularly passionate about R&D, product design, and manufacturing, especially as they relate to improving patient care in the medical device industry. Discovering creative and efficient solutions is what I enjoy the most about this field and what I find to be the most rewarding. Through hands-on experience in R&D, I have contributed to taking projects from initial research through to first product runs—designing tooling, implementing DFM-driven revisions, and creating scalable processes following Lean Six Sigma principles.
