About Ryan Nelson

University of Michigan Ross School of Business Graduate. Campus involvements included time as an outside linebacker & safety for the football team before eventually joining the staff as a Defensive Analyst. Post Undergrad, earned a Masters Degree in Business Analytics from the University of Wisconsin while spending time working with the Badger’s football program on the defensive side of the ball. To combine passions of athletic department strategy, on-field football performance, and transforming analysis into actionable insights, I worked in a role heading the development of an analytics function within Wisconsin’s Football Program until January 2023. Currently working for Navigate as Manager in Client Strategy, focusing in-depth on a variety of collegiate athletic program needs to build a holistic collection of experiences while assisting clients in maximizing their potential. Passionate about analytics, football, golf, hiking, and the greater sports & entertainment industry.
