Currently selling and educating HCP's on the clinical benefits of a first in class infusion therapy to delay the progression of type 1 diabetes. Consulting with HCP’s to educate them on why screening at-risk patients for T1D matters. Strategizing with key decision makers to set up system wide screening protocols. Helping key decision makers identify rare patients to get them initiated on therapy. Current call points include Endocrinologists, Pharmacists, Diabetes Educators, Pediatricians, Infusion Clinics Prior to Provention Bio (now part of Sanofi) I have had success educating physicians on the clinical benefits of hospital administered products in order to expand product utilization within the institutional setting. My position regularly called on institutions including Teaching/Academic, Community, and Government accounts. These accounts included clinics, pharmacies, critical care units, and other various departments within a hospital setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include calling on a wide variety of health care professionals including Infectious Disease, Surgeons, Pulmonary, ICU, Med Surg, Emergency Department, Hospitalists, Wound Care, Registered Nurses, Pharmacists, Fellows, Residents, Case Managers, Social Workers and all other health care professionals involved in ordering, advising, and/or dispensing products within the product portfolio. Successful at understanding how products are purchased, ordered, and administered in hospitals including formulary process, buy and bill and reimbursement policies in targeted institutions and systems. Highly skilled working with appropriate teammates (Managed Care counterparts, External Scientific Affairs) to enhance technical visibility and enhance company visibility in all accounts to maximize sales in the assigned territory.
