About Ryan Oberry

Through my two years in truck operations at a freight forwarder I was responsible for selecting carriers, executing shipments, shipment tracking and status reporting as well as invoicing for shipments on a daily basis. I also worked with heavy and over-dimensional shipments. During my four years working as an export documentation clerk I had the responsibility to prepare, rate, revise and release bills of lading for various clients throughout the U.S. and Canada. I also had the opportunity to submit vessel manifests to both U.S. and Canadian Customs. I have also gained experience with International Air & Ocean shipments both on the import and export sides. Through my current position in container availability I have gained greater experience of terminal operations. Through these experiences I have gained the ability to be thorough, courteous and very responsive when communicating with a variety of people. I have experience with numerous computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Access. I am very disciplined and professional and I believe that giving an honest day’s work means going the extra mile. I also have the drive, dedication and enthusiasm that would make me a great asset to any company.
