Wayne Dyer said “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” This quote is meaningful to me because I am so passionate about self-development and self-improvement. I like to challenge myself and when I have the chance to learn a new skill that will help advance my career, I am always ready to take advantage of that opportunity. I enjoy collaborate work but I am also perfectly comfortable working independently. I am known for being outgoing, gracious and proud of my work. I am not afraid to ask for help when needed. Team work has always been the key to my success. I have always been motivated by the desire to meet a deadline. This gives me a real sense of accomplishment. I am extremely driven by results, and I think my greatest driver is providing outstanding customer service. It is very important to me to offer my clients the best customer service possible. I believe that approach really has a positive impact on future business. Building strong relationships, whether internal or external is now and has always been key a factor of my success. The best part of my work has to be meeting new people and learning about their experiences and interests, both in their career and in life. I have to say that my biggest accomplishment would be when I was the Editor and Publisher of Concrete Contractor magazine and I was able to grow the publication from the #3 B2B magazine in the market to the #1 publication in the market. During this time, I and my team were able to increase ad sales to over per issue. I am very proud of that. My peers would tell you that I am a hard worker, a great communicator, a team player, an active listener and someone who is always ready to jump in and help when needed. As a manager, I believe my direct reports would tell you that I am firm but fair and that I have an open door policy to discuss any issues or challenges that need to be discussed. What do I like to do in my spare time? I love traveling! Seeing other parts of the world and experiencing other cultures is extremely enjoyable. I can also often be found binge-watching the latest true crime documentary or reading non-fiction, particularly history related books. Feel free to connect with me!
