About Ryan Parent

I am currently working as the Head Equipment Manager For the Fayetteville Marksmen of the Southern Professional Hockey League. Previously I worked as a career firefighter and also part time in game day operations for a Junior A Ice Hockey Club as their Equipment manager and trainer. Formerly, I have in the past served as a Field Manager for a low level Professional Independent Baseball team and I also served as a Marine Corps Reserve as a Gunnery Sergeant. I served on active duty or as a reservist since 2003 and but separated in May of 2020. I have a passion for baseball and hockey. I was blessed with an opportunity to manage a couple of Professional baseball teams in summers past. I am a firm believer that if you have a job that you love, then you will never work a day. I enjoy a good hard days work. Just because I cant do it, doesn't mean I cant learn. I enjoy working as apart of a team to accomplish an overall goal. Everything I've done in the Marine Corps and as a civilian I have done to the best I can and have always given everything I have. I try to learn as fast as I can, I work well with others and I’m not afraid to lead as well as follow. There is nothing in this world I can’t learn how to do and do well.
