About Ryan Pay

15 years of experience working in Customer Service. Strengths include strong sense of empathy, calming demeanor when communicating with customers. I am a very hard worker, every supervisor, lead, and authority figure from every company I have worked for would trust me with important sensitive projects. For example I was put on a fraud investigation team during my time at Amtrak to investigate rewards accounts in which the customers' points were being stolen and used to redeem for gift cards and free travel. During this investigation I uncovered an employee who was stealing points and tens of thousands of dollars in travel vouchers to sell on eBay. I have been promoted to management roles in my early restaurant jobs due to my hard work and honesty. I love helping people. I am exceptional at taking an angry customer, telling them exactly what I will do to help them, calm them down, and once the issue is resolved, the customer comes away feeling like someone at the company cared. I have been praised multiple times by my customers over the 15 years I've worked in customer service. I am also very knowledgeable in technology, especially computer and internet troubleshooting. I just fixed a co-worker's internet problems without the need of calling IT support which got her back to work in a fraction of the time. I'm a man of many talents, and I'm a quick learner. It's what gets me out of bed every morning.
