About Ryan Payne
As a chemical engineering graduate, I learned to love problem-solving. It was tough trying to balance the engineering curriculum and social life, but it is achievable with hard work and time management. I graduated from Mizzou with a 3.4 GPA while being an active member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. I believe a great engineer should be highly motivated, technically sound, personable, and always willing to learn. Some of my experiences include being a Process Engineer at Pfizer, where I analyzed heat transfer during the lyophilization of pharmaceuticals. I also have experience as an EHS Engineering Intern at Reckitt, where I worked on safety projects and CAPEX energy and wastewater projects. During my senior year, my design team won the award for the best CAPSTONE oral presentation, in which I was the team leader.I am currently studying for the Chemical Engineering FE Exam and hope to receive my EIT certificate.
