About Ryan Pedro

As a former nursing student at Niagara College, it helped me explore my passion in providing patient care hands on. It allowed me to demonstrate my skills that I have learned in the clinical labs during school, into the real-world settings in health care such as long-term care, hospital, and rehabilitation areas. As a nursing student, it challenged me to use critical thinking when assessing my patients throughout the shifts during clinical placements, applying the theory in class to real situations. As a former university student in Biological Sciences it continuously allowed me to explore the different fields in biology through the numerous courses that are offered. When it comes to health of the human body, it is important to understand the responses it shows when in contact with viral or bacterial infections to better improve our constant battles for survival against them. Since I was little, it has been my interest to understand in greater detail the many aspects of the human body, as it is always applied to the world and its various diseases or cancers that need the careful attention it desires. I worked at Banana Republic Factory Store at the Outlet Collection in Niagara. It is here that it allowed me to improve the service towards the customers that we serve at the store, which I hope to translate in the future as a professional in health care.
