About Ryan Piccone

I’m a mechanical engineer who focuses on designing efficient, reliable HVAC systems that support the needs of complex spaces like laboratories, research facilities, and commercial buildings. In my current role at EwingCole, I work on mechanical system design from concept through construction, performing load calculations, selecting equipment, and developing system layouts that prioritize performance, safety, and energy efficiency. Before transitioning into building systems design, I started my career with The Estée Lauder Companies, where I earned my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and led initiatives to improve production processes and equipment reliability. That experience taught me how to approach engineering with both a technical mindset and a focus on continuous improvement, teamwork, and real-world results. I’m passionate about solving problems, learning new technologies, and collaborating with others to deliver projects that make a meaningful impact on the people who use the spaces we design.
