About Ryan Pierce

I am a Branch Assistant at Tirlán, a leading provider of agricultural services and solutions in Ireland. I joined Tirlán in May 2024, after completing a Production Graduate program at ABP Food Group, one of the largest and most diversified agri-businesses in Europe.In my current role, I leverage my communication and teamwork skills to support the branch manager and the sales team, as well as to provide excellent customer service and advice to farmers and rural clients. I also apply my domain expertise in animal production, which I gained from my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science-Animal Science from University College Dublin in 2022, and from my previous work experience as a sales assistant, pig stockman, and dairy farmer.I am passionate about animal welfare, food quality, and sustainability, and I am always eager to learn and grow in the field of agriculture and innovation. That is why I am pursuing a Microcredit in Communication and Agricultural Innovation from UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science, which will equip me with the skills and knowledge to communicate effectively and creatively with diverse audiences and stakeholders in the agricultural sector.My goal is to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the needs and expectations of farmers, consumers, and the environment. I am looking for opportunities to collaborate with and learn from other professionals who share my vision and values.
