About Ryan Power

I’m a graduate of Mount Royal University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resources and General Management. My career so far has been shaped by a mix of practical experience and a deep interest in how organizations function — and more importantly, how they feel for the people inside them. I’ve worked in frontline logistics as a flex courier with FedEx and served as a Central Poll Supervisor with Elections Canada, coordinating staff and maintaining integrity during a national election. Through these roles, I’ve developed a grounded, team-oriented approach, with a strong respect for structure, fairness, and adaptability under pressure. As an autistic and ADHD person, I bring a neurodivergent lens to the workplace — one that values clarity, creativity, and equity. I advocate for inclusive practices that don’t just accommodate difference but embrace it as a strength. My long-term vision is to help evolve Human Resources into a truly supportive space: one where HR professionals are trusted advocates, neutral problem-solvers, and champions for all types of minds. I’m especially passionate about respectful workplaces, environmental responsibility, and work that feels meaningful — both to the individual and the community it serves.
