Hi there! Thank you for visiting my page. I am building a long-term career in Talent Acquisition while I build a consulting agency on the side. All of my opinions on this platform are my own and not in anyway spoken on behalf of my employer. I will keep any hiring related business transactions very clearly delineated to avoid impact on my employer. I am a First-Generation graduate from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors in Molecular Biology and Psychology. When I was in college, I was transfixed on becoming a surgeon. However, the financial reality became very clear upon graduation. My first job as a Chief Medical Scribe paid barely above minimum wage and included an hour commute both ways. A full medical school application cycle can cost So after 1.5 years, at the end of 2020 I left the emergency room to find a better paying job to continue saving toward school. Fast forward 2 years. For many reasons I have given up my dream of attending medical school. I am building my career in talent acquisition, a career that I have fallen in love with. I am currently studying for my SHRM-CP so that I can pivot my recruiting/career coaching services into a full Management Consulting group. I have always been drawn to problem solving and puzzles because I love thinking outside of the box, learning new things, and the thrill of accomplishing a task. I am working to be able to provide an amazing life to my future children with my amazing fiancee and one day move to Poland. I am working to create generational wealth so that my children and subsequent family will not have to know struggle. I work so that I can provide for myself, my family, and then hopefully the larger community. It is not up to the individual to become perfect, but if every individual tried to do just a little bit better, the world would look a little brighter. Random facts about me- I was a competitive Powerlifter in college and competed at the Collegiate National level- Powerlifting coach (recreationally)- I can solve a Rubik's cube in under 45 seconds- I love reading books, especially classical literature and personal development- Favorite book: Ishmael- I have two adorable cats Jiji and Cashew- Learning Polish so that I can move to Poland in the future.
