About Ryan Revilla

I am a graduate of the Biomedical Discovery and Commericialization program at McMaster University, and an incoming Master's student of Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization. This program combines both disciplines of business and biochemistry. Together, I was taught how to discovery new drug therapeutics, and how to market and commercialize them. During my undergraduate degree, I completed a thesis project with the Platelet Immunology Lab at McMaster. After 8 months of research, I created a novel method for isolating antibodies specific to heparin-induced thrombocytopenia. This protocol proved to be highly effective, and efficient in terms of cost and time, and will be implemented by the lab for future studies. I have also worked with StudentWorks, a company that helps students start their own business. Here, I was the owner/operator of my own franchise specializing in home maintenance specifically in window and eavestrough cleaning. I lead a total of 11 employees, generated 500+ leads and operated at an 82% booking rate.
