Editing has always been the part of video production that clicked with me. It’s where I discovered how powerful storytelling can be, not just in what you show, but in how you shape it. Over the years, I’ve built a career around editing content that informs, inspires, and connects - from fast-paced social media reels to live-streamed events and cinematic recaps. While I have experience behind the camera, it’s in the editing room where I bring stories to life. At Azusa Pacific University, I worked my way up from student editor to Assistant Technical Manager, editing department videos, managing film equipment, and supporting large-scale productions. I also directed livestreams for high-profile events like commencements, chapel services, and athletic games, often stepping in to lead coordination when stakes were high and time was short. Professionally, I’ve edited everything from Amazon product ads (60+ in 3 days!) to year-in-review content, blending speed with story and visual polish. I thrive under pressure, adapt quickly, and love the challenge of turning raw footage into something meaningful. A few proud moments: Saved a university event from potential chaos by coordinating AV cues on the fly, ensuring a smooth experience for hundreds of attendees. Earned a leadership role as Student Lead Editor, overseeing chapel video quality for YouTube distribution. Edited dozens of virtual graduations and product ads under tight timelines, delivering polished content clients loved. Tools of the trade: Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools, Adobe Photoshop, and hands-on experience with professional camera and livestream systems. Outside the edit bay, I’m a cinephile, gamer, and lifelong learner who’s always analyzing what makes a story resonate. I’m now seeking full-time video editing roles in media or entertainment, where I can grow as a creative professional and help bring bold, impactful content to life.
