Background
About Ryan Rose
I am truly an amalgamation of the collective experiences, influences, bosses and co-workers I’ve had in my career. I began a career of more than 30 years in sports as a high school intern for my local cable station and shortly later earned a spot in radio, at the age of 19, as on-air talent. Prior to my current position in broadcast media with Vista Worldlink (producing hundreds of events in sports and streaming - appearing on 3 of the 4 major networks), I made a pair of two-year stops in the athletics media relations offices of FIU in Miami (2016-2017) and the University of Richmond (2014-2015). From 2006-2014, I was in the media relations office with the Charlotte 49ers. In 2013, I was the first television voice for Charlotte 49ers football on a local broadcast TV channel. From 2006-14, I announced college football and basketball games with ESPN and have called games for other networks like CSS and BeIN Sports, from Arena Football to Olympic Trials, to pro basketball to BMX racing and everything in between. I have spent countless hours in television trucks on the production side, as a producer, on graphics (scorebug or font coordinator duties), and also replay. I have trained on Lyric, Tricaster, 3Play, Livebook and Live Text systems, and am proficient using Ross Xpression and Viz. i have also spent a lot of time in desktop and website publishing. I claim to be the only person to see all of these events in person. inaugural Carolina Panthers regular-season game, inaugural Charlotte 49ers football game, Charlotte 49ers baseball first postseason win, Richmond men's lacrosse inaugural game (and postseason appearance), Georgia State inaugural FBS football game, Piedmont Phillies (now Kannapolis Cannon Ballers) inaugural regular-season game and post-season appearance. I also attended Michael Jordan's last game in a Chicago White Sox jersey (at then-Comiskey Park) against the Cubs (Windy City Classic) in 1993.
