As the Facilities Manager at Housing Forward, a nonprofit organization that provides housing and support services to people experiencing homelessness, I manage multiple facilities projects and maintenance tasks with safety and quality as my top priorities. I have over 10 years of experience in the park and recreation industry, where I honed my general carpentry, plumbing, and landscaping skills, and obtained certifications in pool and spa operation and OSHA 10 hour training. I am passionate about creating and maintaining safe, comfortable, and functional spaces for the clients and staff of Housing Forward, as well as contributing to the organization's mission of ending homelessness. I am proficient with various power tools and equipment, and capable of working independently or as part of a cooperative team. I also have basic PC and internet literacy, which enables me to communicate effectively and keep track of project progress and documentation.
