About Ryan Schofield

I am a Red Seal Millwright with over 15 years of experience. Though I enjoy the problem-solving aspects of millwright work, I am most interested in furthering my career in the direction of more people-centered roles, such as scheduling/planning and/or supervisory roles. I am currently employed by Graymont, an international lime production company. I have been with the company since 2016. I joined Graymont as a Millwright in 2016 and moved into the corporate side as a Reliability Specialist in early 2019. Prior to Graymont, I was involved with oilfield manufacturing, rebuilds and service with various companies for 7 years. In my earlier trades career, I was involved in the automation manufacturing and service fields as both an employee and fully insured contractor. I am currently enrolled in the Blue Seal Program at SAIT. This program will further expand my skillset into the leadership roles that I have found myself gravitating toward in the past 5 years.
