About Ryan Schulz

My passion for camper vans started early, inspired by my parents’ 1979 VW Westfalia. That spark turned into a career spanning over two decades in the industry, giving me hands-on experience in van design, custom builds, sales strategy, operations, and leadership. As the Operations Manager at Rover Vans, I oversee the entire flow of the business, from sales and production scheduling to vendor relations and customer delivery. I work closely with our build team to ensure every van meets our high standards for craftsmanship and functionality, while also managing inventory, supply chain, and workflow efficiency. My role bridges the gap between creative design and practical execution, keeping projects on time, on budget, and aligned with customer expectations. I have implemented new systems to streamline operations, improve communication between departments, and enhance the overall customer experience. This includes refining our build process, expanding our parts and accessories offerings, and ensuring each handover feels as personalized as the van itself. Outside the shop, I am actively engaged in the van life community by building relationships with industry partners, staying ahead of emerging trends, and representing Rover Vans at expos and events nationwide. For me, it is about more than just running a business. It is about creating a smooth, enjoyable process for our customers while delivering vans that inspire adventure and freedom.
