About Ryan Seeds

My career has been built around one consistent theme: finding where value is being left on the table and doing something about it.I'm a CPA by training and an entrepreneur by nature. I grew up in a business-owning family, took over the family accounting firm, ran it for five years, and exited by sale — which meant I understood the buy and sell side of a private business transaction before I ever advised on one. That experience shaped how I think: less like a traditional accountant, more like an owner.From the accounting practice I moved into senior advisory and CFO roles, where I've worked alongside founders and executive teams on capital structure, growth financing, and M&A transactions — including the financial execution of a $150M exit of commercial and condo assets for a Toronto-based developer and $60M buy-side advisor of an operating business for a US company. I've restructured finance teams, led lender negotiations, and guided owners through the complexity of major transactions on both sides of the table.In parallel, I founded Envision Development Group, a real estate development company based in Kingston, Ontario. We acquire and reposition underperforming multifamily properties across Eastern Ontario — handling everything from deal sourcing and feasibility through financing, renovation, and stabilization.
