About Ryan Serfort

God and my family are #1. I am a teacher because I enjoy working with kids and take great responsibility for the impact that I am able to make in their lives. I hope to be the teacher that makes a difference and really connects and cares about my students like so many of my favorite did during my school career. I currently teach 6th Social Studies and Science at the middle school level. I really enjoy helping kids make connections to history and helping them to understand scientific processes and phenomena. I recently dived into the gamification in the classroom and have seen amazing results in regards to motivation, classroom culture, and personalized learning (Kids taking their learning to amazing levels). Outside of work, my interests are spending time with friends and family, sports, coaching, and traveling. I recently took up landscaping as something I enjoy and got back into running. I plan to complete a full marathon at some point in the future. I love warm weather and would love to live somewhere warm in the future. Over the past couple years, I jumped into next generational coaching and using analytics to help the football program I worked with. I have done a lot of work with HUDL doing film breakdown, scouting, and creating scouting reports using analytic reports. I am currently helping in a part-time role at Mukwonago High School. I do film breakdown on upcoming opponents, prepare opponent scouting reports for our head coach, and help out with on-field coaching when my schedule permits for me to help out. I have experience coaching all phases and with almost all position groups, so I can fill in wherever needed. Recently, I started helping a company called Modern Football Technology to grow their client base. We used this program last year at Mukwonago High School and their CEO asked me to help grow their client base. This has been fun talking football with coaches from all over and helping a company that I believe in to hopefully continue to grow now and in the future.
