Throughout my career, I have developed excellent written and verbal communication, meticulous organisation, and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines. Notably, during my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, my writing abilities were recognised through the successful completion of multiple publishable-standard academic pieces. I hold a PGCE Primary from the University of Cumbria, where I completed my Initial Teacher Training. Prior to this, I studied at the University of York where I studied BA (Hons) in French and Spanish Language (with a year abroad) in which I achieved a First Class Honour degree. In my role as a Class Teacher and Leader of MFL, I was accountable for the design and implementation of the primary languages curriculum, which has involved upskilling colleagues in IT through workshops, training sessions, and 1:1 mentoring. I am also proficient in using IT for developing bespoke teaching materials and for data analysis. Using Excel, I have input and meticulously analysed data, allowing for the extrapolation of trends and patterns. This data-driven approach has informed strategic decision-making, resulting in meaningful practice adaptations. Prior to this, I worked as a Private Tutor of English (EAL) for over three years, where I prepared and sourced varied learning materials and immersed children in authentic, cultural experiences. I have also worked in a customer service role as a Waiter and Bar Manager at Frankie & Benny's, where I was responsible for maintaining the bar and training others. Collaborating with colleagues to adapt and refine practices is a personal passion, as I strive to foster a culture of continuous improvement. I excel in utilizing IT tools for developing bespoke materials, report writing, creating presentations, and inputting and analysing data. I am a driven and results-oriented individual with a background in teaching and private tutoring. After several years of dedicated classroom teaching, I am now seeking new opportunities to apply my expertise in a different industry. With outstanding communication skills, exceptional writing abilities, keen attention to detail, adaptability, and self-organisation, I am well-prepared for roles that demand these qualities.
