I'm a Dallas-native, Texas A&M graduate, and experienced accountant and leader. The majority of my experience revolves around the standard accounting cycle and all that goes with it; journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset management, accruals and prepaids, sales and use tax calculation and remittance, property taxes, and financial statement preparation. I'm also a former touring rock drummer, which means I'm not your typical buttoned-up bean counter. I tend to think creatively and am often able to see things in a different light or from a different perspective than others. I think it's incredibly important to build strong personal relationships with co-workers since, a lot of times, we'll end-up spending more time with our co-workers than we do with our family. I'm excited to get up and go to work every morning and love the feeling at the end of the day that I've really accomplished something.
