About Ryan Sheppard

Hello! My name is Ryan Sheppard, and I am a third year Music Production/Recording Industry major specializing in audio engineering. I have spent the last decade (since I was 10 years old) recording both myself and later some neighborhood musicians. Once I began schooling, I was exposed to working with larger console systems and recording multi-piece music. I am fluent in Propellerhead's Reason, Logic Pro, and Protools and I am able to use them competently. I am still training as a student, but I am constantly looking for projects to take on, as I believe you learn best on the job and in the field. This being said, I am very interested in one-time projects and contract work, as well as internship opportunities and possible part time work. I would say my best qualities are my professionalism and my willingness and devotion to learn. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 5 years now alongside schooling, so I am well versed in dealing with client interactions. Audio Engineering is such a huge passion of mine and I am very eager to learn and give every project I encounter my all.
