I lead a team of skilled mechanical and plumbing specialists. Our goal is to take Engineer designed HVAC duct, mechanical piping and plumbing systems on commercial projects and create a three dimensional model utilizing Autodesk Fabrication CADmep software. From the model we are able to perform overhead ceiling spatial coordination with the buildings infrastructure with the aid of Autodesk Navisworks Manage. With Autodesk Navisworks we are able to not only produce a 3D model but also a 4D and 5D model, incorporating a construction schedule and pricing. Using OEM data content we generate material takeoffs for purchasing and prefabricate pipe racks, equipment assemblies and nest sheet metal to a plasma machine to fabricate ductwork producing a Building Information Model (BIM) Level Of Development (LOD) of 400+. My team also utilizes a Trimble Robotic Total Station to layout critical items at the job site. Such tasks include layout of trenches for below grade systems, sleeve locations, hanger locations and equipment pads.
