About Ryan Solomon

Villanova University, M.S. in Human Resource Development with a Business Partner Certification. I have completed my Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through HRCI. My current employer is PetIQ where my position is a Human Resources Coordinator. I earned my B.A. in Psychology in spring of 2021 from Wilkes University. I have always had a passion for helping people and understanding cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes behind human nature. While studying psychology, I learned that I really wanted to help people thrive in their day-to-day life while simultaneously increasing their subjective well being. While taking classes such as Positive Psychology, Peak Performance Development, and working at Wilkes' NeuroTraining Center, I have a foundational knowledge of what it takes to enhance these areas of our lives. Instead of choosing a traditional clinical route for psychology, I wanted to bring my knowledge and drive into the workforce. I chose to pursue a career in HR because I could experience my passion everyday, while increasing efficiency, productivity, and motivation for employees within a business. My future interests in HR positions that I would love to pursue is HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
