I am a research scientist working with the department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography. I lead the Marine Conservation Research Group. Our research program focuses on design and monitoring Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and MPA networks. Broadly my research interests focus on population connectivity, habitat science, and climate change. I also co-chair the ICES Working Group for Marine Protected Areas and Other Spatial Conservation Measures
