I champion the development of local food economies where producers are well-resourced and innovative, and eaters are engaged and invested. With over 7 years of on-the-ground experience in various food systems contexts, I have a strong working knowledge of farm, food, and sustainability-oriented businesses. I bring a balance of interpersonal skills and an analytical mindset to my work, specializing in creating local food purchasing strategies, collaborative community-based programming, and mutually beneficial partnerships. My queer identity pushes me to center a curiosity and openness to new ways of doing things, allowing me to innovate by blending insights from different contexts.
