About Ryan Stevens

As the manager of the Compliance team, I oversee the maintenance of full regulatory compliance for all Minto assets throughout Canada. Our team manages a wide range of critical contracts, including mechanical and life safety systems, as well as building automation, elevators, and fire panel monitoring. We conduct scheduled site inspections to ensure adherence to standards and provide ongoing training to site personnel and management. A key function of our team is to partner with Major Repairs, Sustainability, and Asset Management, offering expert advice and guidance on planned mechanical and life safety upgrades. We serve as subject matter experts during project implementation and ensure the proper acquisition of all necessary documentation upon project completion. In addition, we play a vital role in property transactions by collaborating with our Acquisitions and Dispositions teams. We perform comprehensive pre-purchase inspections and equipment audits to identify potential compliance issues and assess risks. During property dispositions, we meticulously gather and organize all required handover documentation, ensuring a smooth transition and protecting Minto's interests throughout the sale process
