About Ryan Stodden

I am an attorney and shareholder at Plager, Krug, Bauer, Rudolph & Stodden, Ltd. in Freeport, IL where I engage in the general practice of law with a focus on estate and trust planning and administration, business and corporate transactions, real estate, agricultural issues, business formation, tax law, elder law, and related litigation. In May 2016 I graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree at Northern Illinois University College of Law. During my time there, I gained valuable legal experience working at the Cosentino Law Firm, the national headquarters for American Family Life Insurance Company, Northern Illinois University College of Law, and at Plager, Krug, Bauer & Rudolph, Ltd. In 2013, I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Dubuque with a major in criminal justice and a minor in business. Throughout my educational journey at the University of Dubuque, I gained exceptional and valuable experience. In 2012, I competed in the National Intercollegiate Mediation Tournament where we placed 4th in the nation. Through this experience, I gained valuable communication skills and learned the benefits of alternative dispute resolution.
