About Ryan Strand

Professional careers began for me in 2005 in construction and building trades. I worked in the construction and building trades industry for 6 years and have a Technical Diploma in Carpentry and Building Trades from the Waukesha County Technical College. I then continued education elsewhere and graduated with a bachelor’s of Science, Education Occupation Safety and Environmental Health degree from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. I worked in the environmental health and safety field 2 years. One year for Kohler Engines and Pottery maintaining their EHS program. Another year for a start up company called Ingeteam in Milwaukee. With this company not only did I develop a completely new EHS program but I also took on an expanded role in quality management at the same time. Working towards ISO 9001-14001 certification for them. I then began working in the family business Wisconsin Oven Distributors for sales and service. We were the sole representative in the United States for a German Manufacture Memmert GmBH. We served a wide customer base that included industrial, pharmaceutical, laboratories, government, automotive, aerospace, universities etc. Products included Ovens, Incubators, Vacuum Ovens, Humidity Chambers, Climate Chambers, and Water/Oil Baths. This eventually evolved into a management and ownership role for many years to come. I have gained valuable knowledge and experience in sales and service at Wisconsin Oven Distributors/ Memmert USA over the past few years while working and interacting with our customers on their Memmert equipment. Once I became VP of operations I handled accounting duties, managed workflow, maintained CRM and ERP, managed importing of goods, directly worked on customer service, inventory management, budgets/ goals and much more valued experienced that I cannot put into text. As the years have progressed, the business was acquired by Memmert and transformed into Memmert USA. I spent some time after the transition helping to build their team for future growth and expansion. Now the time has come and it is time for me to close one chapter and start the next chapter of life for me and my family. What will come next? That is what I am working on right now. We shall see….
