Mr. Taitague’s role as Quality Assurance Manager is to oversee the day-to-day management of the Quality Assurance Division's facilitated committees (PRC, DSMC, DSMB), directly supervise the audit and monitoring team, and directly supervise the QA Coordinator. Mr. Taitague is uniquely suited to directly supervise staff in these two areas, having started with MCC as QA Coordinator, later promoting to an auditor within the division. Additional duties include development and provision of training for Clinical Trials Office (CTO) staff, training new PRC members, tracking accruals for PRC, maintaining Investigator Initiated Study (IIS) files and developing new tracking tools for QA use, including the recently implemented CAPA database in REDCap. Mr. Taitague is also involved with the facilitation of corrective and preventative action plans with respective Clinical Trials Office (CTO) staff.
