Ryan Taylor is the principal founder of DROBE, Custom Clothing, located in Inglewood, CA. Since it’s inception in DROBE made custom clothes for clients, including Jimmy Kimmel, Martin Lawrence, Chris Bosh and hundreds of professionals nationwide. Taylor manages operations, quality control and sales. Taylor is also the Executive Director of leap (learning enrichment after-school program), an Inglewood based 501c3 non-profit. Founded in 2004, leap serves after-school meals on 84 low income school campuses, nourishing 8,200 students every school day. Taylor oversees operations and finances, creates visibility and maintains leap’s mission. In 2016, Taylor formed DROBE Stogies, a cigar lounge that sells premium cigars, cigar accessories and suit accessories like ties, cufflinks, socks and pocket squares. Partnering with his elementary school friend, the company amassed 1,600 customers and boasted more that sales in its first year. An award-winning entrepreneur and active board member of Operation HOPE’s 5 Million Kids initiative, Taylor has been honored by the Los Angeles City Council for his philanthropy. Taylor has been featured on CNN, Los Angeles Times, Entrepreneur magazine and many publications. Taylor is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, Afterschool Alliance, America’s Promise Alliance. When Taylor is not enjoying time with his children Morris, Olyn and Nora, he takes pleasure in swimming, reading and developing business systems. Most recently, in 2021, Taylor became a children's book author! Penning "HONK! Driving with Soup" a beautiful story about empathy that's especially needed during this tough time.
