About Ryan Tetro

I’m a Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, specializing in the design and fabrication of RF piezoelectric acoustic MEMS resonators for next-generation wireless communication, including IoT and beyond-5G applications. My research focuses on design and fabrication of devices operating in the very-high to super-high frequency range, using advanced materials such as lithium niobate and scandium-doped aluminum nitride. Since 2022, my work has contributed to multiple publications and conference presentations, advancing the field of compact, high-performance acoustic devices. I hold a B.S. in Physics from Haverford College and an M.S.E. in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where I built a strong foundation in micro/nanofabrication and MEMS technologies. I am passionate about advancing next-generation wireless communication and sensing technologies through innovations in nanofabrication, materials science, and RF systems that address real-world challenges.
